Press Release Body: IF we talk about MBA forums, it is basically initiated through
outreach programs with other business schools in other areas, which will pull the
segment together and give out a general information about a business school; what
it\'s like, how you can become a successful MBA candidate and what it's going to do for
you. It will also provide an opportunity for MBA candidates to meet the admissions
officers of international business schools. The opportunity of having personal
meetings is one of the advantages of exhibitions rather than advertising, and it is
vital to any MBA student, as it will broaden his scope of knowledge and overviews
relating to an MBA degree. Through this a student will also have an idea of the top
MBA schools/programs. To enter a top MBA
program
, for instance, schools select students with the highest test scores. But
applicants with the highest test scores often do not equate to the best management
talent. As a result, the faculty will beat out the investment front-runners for a
slot in the MBA programs, but companies who recruit from these schools will
subsequently discover that these graduates do not have the personal qualities
necessary to ascend the managerial ladder in business. However, I think it is
premature to worry about its competitive advantage because it still has a very long
way to go.

A recent MBA news is the
customization of MBA programs initiated by some companies, and it has been a growing
trend in executive education. Instead of sending their employees to open-enrollment
continuing education courses, more companies have asked schools to facilitate
seminars and short-term training programs which will be immediately relevant to
employees when they return to work. The design of the program will allow students to
work on projects relating to the company's strategic initiatives that would not be
possible in an open-enrollment program because of confidentiality issues.

On the other hand, several business schools are granting MBA programs according to the needs of
specific companies. The credibility and prestige of the program is a return on
investment they\'d get by paying for a degree that makes an employee more competitive
in the marketplace and possibly more likely to advance.
